Cornerstone Business Services
Cornerstone acquires Milwaukee-area business broker
For Immediate Release September 14, 2004
Cornerstone Business Services, Inc. has acquired Site Locators, Inc., a Milwaukee-area business brokerage firm from John
W. Theisen of Mukwonago, Wisconsin.
“Site Locators has been one of this state’s premier petroleum business brokers, so it should solidify our position as
Wisconsin’s leading firm to sell petroleum based businesses,” said Scott Bushkie, president of Cornerstone Business
Services. “Since we have a division with the same niche, this acquisition fits into our strategy to expand our presence
throughout the Midwest.” Under the terms of the deal, Site Locators will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of
Cornerstone Business Services.
Cornerstone Business Services’ Petroleum Division sold 17 convenience stores and Citgo and BP jobberships in 2003.
Together, the two companies have brokered more than 65 petroleum transactions. “This gives us a stronger position
of petroleum sales in eastern and southern Wisconsin,” Bushkie stated.
Site Locators brokers are currently working out of offices in Mukwonago and Madison. The firm will relocate to
Cornerstone’s Milwaukee offices within the next six months. |
