Cornerstone Holds "Adding Value to Your Business" Seminar

Baby boomer business owners are nearing retirement and many of them have their own businesses that they’ll have to sell. Owners and advisors of small to medium businesses were encouraged to attend this half day seminar to learn how to “Unlock Your Business Potential: Evaluate Like A Buyer.” The seminar will took place on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Holiday Inn, I-43 AND HIGHWAY 151, in Manitowoc from 8 a.m. until noon.

“Before a business is ready to be sold, there are actions that business owners can take to help increase the business value,” explained Scott Bushkie, president of Cornerstone Business Services. “You only sell your business once, so you want to make sure that you are making the best decisions and getting the value that you put into it.”

This seminar discussed:
• Understanding business transactions
• Identifying value drivers
• Capitalizing on untapped opportunities

Bushkie was joined by Mike Fabich and Greg Gauthier of Foxwood Associates for the presentation on financial analysis and management and business transitions. All of the presenters have owned or run a small to medium business.
