Cornerstone Hires Royko to lead Madison office

(Green Bay, WI) – Cornerstone Business Services is pleased to announce that Stephen Z. Royko has joined Cornerstone to manage the firm’s Madison office.
“Our plan is to expand our Madison office and having Steve on board is a great fit,” said Scott Bushkie, president of Cornerstone Business Services. “His strong ties to the Madison community along with his management and business consulting background will strengthen this effort. Steve’s client focused philosophy is a great values match with Cornerstone.”
Royko comes to Cornerstone with a variety of experience in management, business planning and development, providing strategic leadership to companies in a variety of industries and stages. His experience includes acting as an interim CEO for a Wisconsin real estate company, where he stabilized operations, restructured the organization, oversaw an increase in sales, and led the process of hiring a permanent CEO. Royko also spent time with the Madison law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, both managing strategic business development initiatives for the firm and assisting clients with strategic business plans, market research, and feasibility studies.
Most recently, Royko was the owner and operator of his own consulting firm. His projects included strategic business and financing plans, pro forma development, market research and analysis, and development and execution of marketing and public relations strategies. He served both early stage companies and established businesses in a wide variety of industries.
