About Erica Gilson

As Stakeholder Relations Manager, Erica is responsible for buyer and seller support, coordinating highly confidential projects through the marketing and due diligence process. She manages Cornerstone’s internal KPIs and also ensures registered buyers receive first notification of new opportunities that meet their acquisition criteria. Erica also facilitates the efforts of Cornerstone’s internal stakeholders by overseeing the administrative team and coordinating efforts. She places special emphasis on the “relations” aspect of her position knowing that it is the relationships that really make this work meaningful to her and to all of the stakeholders.

Erica joined Cornerstone in 2016, bringing direct operational experience from a global private equity firm. There she supported the President in managing special project initiatives including business unit wind downs, liquidations, acquisitions, and reorganization efforts.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Master’s Degree in Management and Organizational Behavior with an emphasis on Leadership from Silver Lake College. Erica grew up in a family owned business and understands first-hand the value of building and maintaining relationships, as well as the hard work and dedication that typify family business owners.

An active community volunteer, Erica dedicates her time as a coach for youth soccer and is a Team Manager for Destination Imagination which is a program where she helps empower students to change the world by using creativity and teamwork. Erica finds it very rewarding to inspire students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders. Erica and her husband Mark live in Green Bay with their four children, Carson, Connor, Gabriella, and Alexis.
